Holy cap a lot of people said yes
It's a simple answer, there is a clear separation between church and state in public & government institutions.
It'd be fine in the case of a privately funded religious school, but we're obviously talking about a public school that received tax money from the state, so no, they shouldn't graduate in a church.
Wth does a church have to do with graduation? Stop making everything religious
It would be different if it was a private school but public schools are way more diverse when it comes to things like religion.
But dosen't that sorta go against public schools? They're not supposed to teach about religion because everyone there has a different belif with diffrent backgrounds so having it in a church would not fit.
Churches are usually large with lots or seating. What do you need for a high school graduation? A large building with lots of seating. It has nothing to do with religion.
Freedom of religion
Public schools are supposed to stay neutral on religion.
